In the group of fruits and nuts imported the most to Vietnam in the first 8 months of 2024, grapes ranked 3rd, after apples and pistachios.

Accordingly, traders and businesses spent 100.8 million USD (about more than 2,500 billion VND) to import fresh grapes to Vietnam, accounting for 9.1% of the import value of fruits and nuts of our country in the first 8 months of this year.

In terms of supply, grapes are imported from many countries such as the US, Australia, Peru, etc. In particular, Vietnam imports a large amount of grapes from China. Therefore, in the market, not just one type but nearly ten types of Chinese grapes are sold in all markets, stores, supermarkets, and even full of street stalls.

It is worth mentioning that Chinese grapes are always the cheapest product compared to similar products imported from other countries. However, many people are still shocked when they know the price of imported grapes offered at wholesale markets.
