Practically responding to the month of workers, the month of action on occupational safety and hygiene, on the afternoon of May 25, at Thai Binh 2 Thermal Power Plant, My Loc commune (Thai Thuy), the Thai Binh 2 Oil and Gas Power Project Management Board coordinated with the Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Department (PCCC and CNCH), the Provincial Police organized a fire prevention and fighting sports festival in 2023.

The athletes are the unit's grassroots fire fighting force who participated in the 4x100m relay race to overcome fire fighting obstacles and organized a fire fighting plan practice at the HFO oil tank area at the factory.

At the sports festival, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department organized propaganda, training, and fostering of fire prevention and rescue skills for officers, employees, and grassroots fire prevention and rescue teams. Practicing fire prevention and rescue plans such as: practicing inspection, preservation, and maintenance of existing fire fighting equipment; operating on-site fire fighting equipment, deploying fire fighting formations, and searching for and rescuing basic victims; practicing rescue skills, methods of searching, moving victims, and methods of rescuing people in different spaces; self-escape skills in different situations...

The organizing committee rewarded the athletes participating in the sports festival.

The sports festival is an activity to promote the training movement, improve professional skills and awareness of responsibilities and obligations of officers and employees in operating and using equipment, ensuring fire safety and rescue, and at the same time building and strengthening the grassroots fire prevention force in the coming time.
