Scientific workshop on continuous hemodialysis and hemofiltration

Thanh Hoa Provincial General Hospital has just organized a scientific workshop "Update on continuous hemodialysis and hemofiltration" with the participation of Prof. Dr. Claudio Ronco - Director of Vincenza International Kidney Research Institute and many leading experts, doctors on artificial kidney, hemodialysis, intensive care from hospitals in the province and neighboring provinces.

Overview of the Workshop.

Speaking at the opening of the workshop, Associate Professor, Doctor Le Van Sy, Director of Thanh Hoa General Hospital, said: The Kidney - Dialysis Center, Thanh Hoa General Hospital was established in 1994. It is currently managing and treating nearly 500 patients on periodic dialysis, with more than 80 artificial kidney machines, working in 3 shifts, ensuring blood filtration for 230 patients/day. In addition to periodic dialysis for patients with chronic kidney failure, the Kidney - Dialysis Center also performs the following techniques: Online HDF ultrafiltration dialysis; adsorption blood filtration for patients with acute poisoning, patients with chronic kidney failure; central venous catheter placement, etc.

Within the framework of the program, the delegates attending the workshop listened to 3 quality reports by leading domestic and international experts that are of interest to doctors and physicians in the field of artificial kidney, blood filtration, and intensive care: "The situation of blood filtration at Thanh Hoa Provincial General Hospital"; "Proposed technical indications for combining TNT and blood adsorption using HA130 adsorbent"; "Application of adsorption technology in blood filtration".
