The Evangelical Church of Vietnam (South) wishes a happy new year to the Binh Thuan Provincial Party Committee

BTO-On the morning of January 22, Pastor Vo Dong Thu - Member of the General Confederation of the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (South), in charge of Binh Thuan province and members of the Representative Board of the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (South) visited and wished a happy new year to the Binh Thuan Provincial Party Committee, on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025.

Receiving the delegation were comrade Dang Hong Sy - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Binh Thuan province, along with representatives of departments and the Provincial Party Committee Office.

Comrade Dang Hong Sy welcomed the delegation of the General Confederation of the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (South) to celebrate Tet.

Sending sincere wishes on the occasion of the New Year, Pastor Vo Dong Thu shared: With the motto of "Living the gospel, serving God, serving the Fatherland and the people", the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (South) always complies with and abides by the law; joins hands to care for all classes of people, contributing to the development of the province and the country.

Pastor Vo Dong Thu sincerely thanks the Party Committee and authorities at all levels in the province for their attention, support, and creating favorable conditions for people to practice religion, study, work, and produce to improve their lives. He believes that, entering the new year, Binh Thuan province will continue to achieve more outstanding achievements in all fields.

Informing the delegation about the outstanding results achieved by Binh Thuan province in 2024, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Dang Hong Sy said: In the past year, despite many difficulties, the province's economy has grown, with the gross domestic product (GRDP) increasing by 7% compared to 2023. The economic structure in GRDP continues to shift in the right direction. Industrial production grew quite well, the industrial production index (IIP) increased by 10.2% compared to 2023, with 9/16 main industrial production products increasing over the same period. Tourism activities continued to flourish, welcoming 9.68 million visitors, reaching 101.36% of the plan, up 15.91% compared to 2023. Total state budget revenue in 2024 is estimated at VND 10,677.1 billion, reaching 106.77% of the annual estimate and up 2.43% over the same period last year.

In addition, Binh Thuan has focused on leading and directing the issuance of new regulations and policies under the province's authority; adjusting and approving plans on the basis of concretizing the Binh Thuan Provincial Planning for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050 approved by the Prime Minister... The province's achievements have had the positive contributions of organizations, establishments, dignitaries, and religious followers in the province.

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee expressed his gratitude for the affection of the General Confederation of the Evangelical Churches of Vietnam (South) for the province.
