In 2025, the Hanoi Farmers' Association aims to plant 30,000 new trees; establish 368 "Farmers protecting the environment" clubs; build 368 models of "tree rows, flower roads, clean fields" to contribute to the construction of advanced new rural areas. In addition, the Association continues to maintain effective environmental models such as: fields without burning straw, self-managed farmer roads "Bright - Green - Clean - Beautiful", farmers' associations "beautiful houses, clean roads, clean fields", waste tanks, and collection of pesticide packaging.
Speaking at the launching ceremony, Chairman of Hanoi Farmers' Association Pham Hai Hoa emphasized: To promote emulation movements among all levels of the Association, cadres and members of farmers in the capital and successfully implement the 2025 work program, Hanoi Farmers' Association launched "Tet tree planting to forever remember Uncle Ho", responding to the emulation movement "Bright - Green - Clean - Beautiful" of the city.
The Chairman of the Hanoi Farmers' Association requested that all levels of the Association continue to innovate the content and methods of operation, improve the quality of the Association's organization and its staff and members, and carry out the movements "Clean Agriculture - Responsible Farmers" and "Good Farmers - Green Transformation". All levels of the Association need to focus on implementing two breakthroughs: Strengthening propaganda and supporting members to improve their knowledge of digital transformation, applying technology in agricultural production, product consumption and activities of the Association. Guiding members to link and cooperate in production according to the value chain, applying high technology to develop a sustainable agricultural economy in an ecological, circular, smart and safe direction.
In 2025, the City Farmers' Association at all levels strives to recruit 9,000 new members, establish 18 professional farmers' associations, 210 professional farmers' associations, 18 cooperatives and 368 cooperative groups. At the same time, support over 10,000 members to open accounts on e-commerce platforms, mobilize 2,500 members to participate in voluntary social insurance and increase the City-wide Farmers' Support Fund to over 100 billion VND.
Chairman of the City Farmers’ Association Pham Hai Hoa called on all members to continue to respond to the campaign “For a clean environment, for public health”, committing to producing, processing and consuming safe agricultural products. At the same time, implementing the Project “Building a model for applying biological products in the treatment of organic waste and agricultural by-products” to protect the environment and develop sustainable production.
Within the framework of the program, the leaders of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Union, Hanoi City and Phuc Tho District presented SUMITRIN biological products to support the treatment of livestock environment to the Farmers' Club for Environmental Protection in Phung Thuong Commune. In addition, 15 farmer households in Phung Town, Dan Phuong District were also supported with organic waste treatment products and plastic buckets for composting, contributing to reducing environmental pollution.
Leaders of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Association, Hanoi City and delegates also visited the flower and ornamental plant growing model in Tich Giang village, Tich Loc commune, Phuc Tho district. Currently, the flower and ornamental plant growing area of this craft village reaches 103 hectares, bringing in an average income of about 700 million VND/ha, contributing more than 20% to the total production value of the whole commune. Notably, Tich Giang flower village has achieved the title of "Hanoi Craft Village".
