In the first 6 months of the year, the Ministry of Justice, ministries and branches have developed, submitted for promulgation or promulgated under their authority 292 legal documents (LDO); localities have issued 1,528 LDOs at the provincial level, 1,038 LDOs at the district level and 810 LDOs at the commune level. The work of organizing law enforcement and monitoring law enforcement continues to receive attention, with focus and key points, closely linked to the work of law-making. The Ministry of Justice continues to effectively implement the Law on Handling of Administrative Violations and documents guiding its implementation; actively review, amend and supplement many Decrees regulating the handling of administrative violations in specific fields, ensuring consistency with related LDOs and the actual situation. Ministries, branches and localities have also organized 305,128 legal propaganda sessions for more than 24 million people; organized 4,154 contests for about 4 million contestants; distributed more than 22 million documents on legal propaganda and education. The results of civil judgment enforcement (CJE) have also achieved many positive results, completing 403,769 cases, reaching a rate of 65.24% .
Statistics show that the results of work in the first 6 months of 2024 in most areas of the Ministry of Justice have increased compared to the same period in 2023, continuing to make important contributions to socio-economic development, ensuring national defense, security, social order and safety of the country and each locality. In addition, judicial work still has some shortcomings and limitations such as: The situation of outstanding debts, slow issuance of detailed regulations, instructions for the implementation of laws and ordinances has not been completely overcome; the implementation of some tasks is still slow; the results of THADS have not been as expected; professional guidance in some areas is not timely; violations still occur in the activities of lawyers and notaries...

To continue to effectively carry out judicial tasks in the last 6 months of the year, comrade Le Thanh Long, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Justice, proposed: The Ministry and the Justice sector Continue to innovate and be determined in direction and administration; improve the effectiveness and efficiency of state management; flexibly use solutions on personnel work; strictly implement the programs and work plans set out, especially the tasks assigned by the Government and the Prime Minister; continue to invest in resources and infrastructure to promote the application of information technology and digital transformation in the judicial sector; strengthen coordination with ministries, branches, Party committees and authorities at all levels in directing and removing difficulties, obstacles and shortcomings in the implementation of tasks of the Ministry and the judicial sector; strengthen inspection and examination work; promptly detect and strictly handle violations (if any); promptly encourage and motivate collectives and individuals who have made efforts to complete excellent tasks.
