On the morning of July 5, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee held a conference to review internal affairs, anti-corruption, negativity and judicial reform in the first 6 months of the year, and deploy key tasks for the last 6 months of 2024.

The work of preventing and combating crimes and law violations continues to be promoted. The coordination between levels and sectors in forecasting, grasping the situation, advising the Party Committee and the government to lead and direct the resolution of complicated security and order cases has been gradually improved. A number of complicated and prolonged cases have been focused on and directed for effective resolution. The work of receiving people, handling complaints and denunciations has had many positive changes; the contact and dialogue between the heads of the Party Committee and the government with the people has been strengthened. The work of preventing and combating corruption and negativity has been seriously led and directed. The measures to prevent and combat corruption and negativity have been implemented synchronously, seriously and substantially, with clear effects in preventing and limiting corruption and negativity. Judicial reform is being implemented in accordance with the key program. The activities of judicial agencies continue to have many innovations towards improving the quality and effectiveness of the practice of the right to prosecute and supervise judicial activities. The activities of the Provincial Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption and Negativity and the Provincial Steering Committee for Judicial Reform are maintained in order and effectiveness.

In his concluding remarks, comrade Ngo Dong Hai, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption and Negative Behavior, acknowledged and highly appreciated the achieved results, and at the same time pointed out a number of shortcomings and limitations in internal affairs, anti-corruption and negative behavior, and judicial reform in recent times.

Regarding the tasks in the coming time, the Provincial Party Secretary, Head of the Provincial Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption and Negativity, requested all levels and sectors to raise their sense of responsibility in performing their tasks, proactively grasp the situation to resolve it right at the grassroots level. Promote the role of the political system, the Fatherland Front, and socio-political organizations to contribute to maintaining political security, social order and safety, and doing a good job of mediation at the grassroots level. In performing public duties, especially for administrative agencies, it is necessary to focus on promptly, quickly, and thoroughly resolving outstanding issues. In addition to continuing administrative reform, improving the quality and effectiveness of responsibilities in performing tasks, it is necessary to thoroughly handle the consequences as well as negative manifestations of cadres, civil servants and leaders in the direction of enhancing responsibility, focusing on properly implementing their authority and functions, and daring to resolve the issues raised.

Regarding the work of handling complaints and denunciations, the Provincial Party Secretary, Head of the Provincial Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption and Negativity, said that the most effective experience is to handle the matter responsibly, thoroughly research the issue and related documents, review the actual records in the area where the incident occurred, focus on dialogue, persuasion, and apply legal regulations in a public, transparent, strict and appropriate manner, which will certainly resolve the matter and receive satisfaction and consensus from the people.

Regarding inspection and examination work, on the basis of the 2022 Inspection Law, in addition to specifying regulations, plans and instructions of the province, it is recommended that all levels and sectors continue to strengthen leadership and direction to seriously implement so that internal affairs, anti-corruption, negativity and judicial reform in the province are well implemented, maintaining quality and meeting the set requirements.

In addition, he also suggested that it is necessary to focus on disseminating the law to the people and business owners; promptly specifying regulations under the province's authority and focusing on ensuring internal politics, promptly resolving issues related to cadres, overcoming and strictly handling violations, while also creating conditions for cadres to perform their duties and responsibilities in accordance with the law and assigned authority.
