On the morning of July 10, the Central Inspection Commission held a conference to review the Party's inspection, supervision and discipline enforcement work in the first 6 months of the year and deploy tasks for the last 6 months of 2024. Comrade Tran Cam Tu, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Inspection Commission chaired the conference. Comrade Nguyen Duc Thanh, Standing Committee member, Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission attended and chaired at the Quang Ninh bridge.
In the first 6 months of 2024, the Central Committee, the Politburo, the Secretariat and Party committees at all levels regularly paid attention to leading, directing and implementing inspection and supervision work; The institution on inspection, supervision and Party discipline work continued to be improved, creating favorable conditions for the Central Inspection Commission and Inspection Commissions at all levels to effectively carry out tasks according to the provisions of the Party Charter; promptly promulgate and organize the implementation of programs, plans, inspection and supervision in 2024.
In the first 6 months of the year, Party committees at all levels inspected more than 18,470 Party organizations and more than 107,160 Party members. The Politburo and the Secretariat established 10 inspection teams led by members of the Politburo and the Central Party Secretariat, to inspect 20 Party organizations on the leadership, direction and implementation of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress and Conclusion No. 21 of the Central Party Executive Committee on promoting Party building and rectification and the political system; resolutely preventing, repelling and strictly handling cadres and Party members who have degraded in political ideology, ethics, lifestyle, and manifestations of "self-evolution" and "self-transformation".
Party committees at all levels inspected 131 party organizations and 922 party members when there were signs of violations. Inspection committees at all levels inspected 804 party organizations and 2,850 party members when there were signs of violations. Party committees at all levels and party cells supervised 11,771 party organizations and 42,905 party members. Inspection committees at all levels supervised 8,733 party organizations and 12,890 party members.
In the past 6 months, Party committees at all levels nationwide have disciplined 165 Party organizations and 7,858 Party members, including 332 Party members being expelled from the Party. Inspection committees at all levels have disciplined 143 Party organizations and 3,147 Party members. Through inspection and supervision, objective and accurate conclusions have been drawn and strict handling has been made, helping Party organizations and Party members under inspection and supervision to clearly recognize violations and shortcomings in order to correct and overcome them, contributing to strengthening the trust of Party members and the people.
In Quang Ninh, over the past 6 months, the work of inspection, supervision and enforcement of Party discipline has continued to be directly and regularly led, directed and implemented by the Provincial Party Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Party committees, Party organizations and Inspection Committees at all levels, ensuring synchronization, unity, focus and key points according to Program No. 35-CTr/TU, dated November 28, 2023 of the Provincial Party Executive Committee. In particular, focusing on self-inspection and self-supervision of Party committees, Party organizations and organizations in the political system; proactively detecting early to prevent, stop and overcome shortcomings and violations of Party organizations and Party members early, from afar, from the grassroots level. Many results in the inspection, supervision and disciplinary enforcement of the Party in the first 6 months of the year by the Party Committees and Inspection Committees at all levels of Quang Ninh province were recognized and highly appreciated by the Central Inspection Committee, especially in relation to the inspection of Party organizations and Party members when there are signs of violations; organizing the implementation of thematic supervision; transferring for inspection when there are signs of violations; enforcing discipline on violating Party organizations and Party members...
Concluding the conference, Chairman of the Central Inspection Commission Tran Cam Tu suggested that in the coming time, Party committees, Party organizations and Inspection Commissions at all levels should be proactive and active in leading, directing and effectively implementing key tasks in the inspection, supervision and discipline enforcement work of the Party in 2024; strengthen inspection and supervision of the leadership, direction and implementation of regulations and conclusions of the Party Central Committee (13th tenure) on promoting Party building and rectification and the political system in conjunction with Conclusion No. 01 of the Politburo and regulations on setting examples; Strengthen inspection of the organization and implementation of Directive No. 35 of the Politburo on "Party Congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Congress of the Party"... At the same time, promptly review and handle disciplinary actions against Party organizations and Party members involved in corruption and negative incidents and cases monitored and directed by the Steering Committees for anti-corruption and negative incidents at all levels; proactively carry out the work of planning, perfecting and improving the quality of inspection staff at all levels...
