In 2024, the Provincial Steering Committee directed departments, branches, organizations, and localities to implement many solutions to promote crime prevention, attack, and suppression, contributing to ensuring social order and safety, effectively serving the task of socio-economic development in the locality. Notably, security and safety of cultural and political events, holidays, and Tet taking place in the locality were ensured. The rate of investigation and discovery of criminal cases was high (reaching 84.14%, 9.14% higher than the target assigned by the National Assembly of 75%); preventing the formation of rampant criminal gangs and groups that caused outrage in society. The fight against crime and violations of economic, environmental, and drug laws achieved many positive results; investigation, prosecution, and trial activities ensured the right people, the right crimes, and the right laws. State management of economy, culture, society, security, order and social safety has been strengthened; social security, poverty reduction and new rural construction have been actively implemented.
Conference overview.
After 10 years of implementing Directive No. 07/CT-BCA-V28 dated August 15, 2014 of the Minister of Public Security on "Promoting the movement of All people protecting national security in agencies, enterprises and schools to meet the requirements and tasks of ensuring security and order in the new situation" in the period of 2014 - 2024, it has contributed to creating positive changes in the awareness and responsibility of Party committees, authorities, cadres and people regarding their roles and responsibilities in participating in preventing and combating crimes, social evils and building the movement of All people protecting national security. The coordination between the Public Security, the Fatherland Front and departments, branches and political organizations in propagating and mobilizing cadres and people to participate in protecting national security and order and building the movement of All people protecting national security and order has been improved, with a close coordination mechanism, thereby promoting the combined strength of the entire political system and the people actively and voluntarily participating in the movement.
At the conference, representatives of a number of typical agencies and units spoke, exchanged experiences, and proposed a number of solutions to promote the effectiveness of the People's Movement to Protect National Security. The conference also launched the Emulation Program to implement the People's Movement to Protect National Security in 2025.

Concluding the conference, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Provincial Steering Committee acknowledged and highly appreciated the changes and results achieved in the work of preventing and combating crimes, social evils and building the movement of All People Protecting National Security in the province in the past time. In order to promote the achieved results and continue to perform well the tasks in the coming time, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested departments, branches, localities, together with the agencies of the Fatherland Front and mass organizations to continue to closely and actively coordinate with the Public Security force to carry out propaganda, dissemination and education work to raise the awareness of cadres and people about the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws on national security and order, thereby creating consensus and positive response from the entire political system and people to participate in the movement of All People Protecting National Security and Order, protecting national security and maintaining social order and safety.

Innovate the form, content and measures of movement building work suitable for each subject, locality and field; encourage and create conditions for people to participate more and more directly in the work of preventing and combating crimes and social evils, proactively protecting property and maintaining security and order from the grassroots level. Maintain, build and replicate advanced models and examples in the movement of All people protecting security and order; promptly commend and reward collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements. Consolidate and build the force participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level to ensure quantity and quality; regularly organize training and professional development to meet the requirements of tasks in the new situation. Promote joint coordination to ensure security and order and build the movement of All people protecting national security and order between the Public Security force, the Vietnam Fatherland Front and member organizations at all levels.
On this occasion, the Provincial People's Committee awarded emulation flags to three outstanding collectives leading the emulation movement for the protection of national security in the province; and presented certificates of merit to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the fight against crime and building the movement for the protection of national security.
