Conference on inspection and supervision work in the first quarter of 2024 of party organizations under the Department of Area IA, Central Inspection Committee

On the afternoon of April 15, in Hanoi, the Central Inspection Commission held a conference to review the inspection and supervision work of the first quarter of 2024 of party organizations under the Department of Area IA. Comrades: Tran Van Ron, member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Deputy Head of the Central Inspection Commission; Ngo Van Tuan, member of the Party Central Committee, State Auditor General; Dao The Hoang, member of the Central Inspection Commission chaired the conference.

At the Conference, Comrade Le Minh Tuan, Director of the IA Area Department, Central Inspection Commission presented the Report on the results of inspection and supervision work in the first quarter of 2024 and the key directions and tasks of inspection and supervision work in the second quarter of 2024 of units and localities under the IA Area Department.

The IA Regional Department is assigned to monitor the inspection, supervision and party discipline work in 23 localities and units. In the first quarter of 2024, the Party committees, party organizations and inspection committees at all levels of the IA Regional Department have focused on leading, directing, guiding and proactively organizing the comprehensive and synchronous implementation of inspection, supervision and discipline enforcement tasks within the Party, specifically:

Focused on leading, directing, disseminating, thoroughly grasping, and promptly implementing resolutions, directives, conclusions, and guiding documents of the Central Committee on inspection, supervision, and Party discipline work; reviewed, revised, and supplemented regulations and statutes. Inspection Commissions at all levels have proactively performed their advisory functions, helping Party committees at their levels to promulgate and organize the implementation of inspection, supervision, and Party discipline work plans, while actively and comprehensively implementing tasks according to the Party Charter; closely and more effectively coordinating with relevant Party organizations and agencies in performing inspection and supervision tasks.

Comrade Le Minh Tuan, Head of the IA Area Department, Central Inspection Commission presented a report at the Conference .

Regarding the inspection of party organizations and party members: Party committees and party organizations under the Department of Area IA inspected 05 party organizations and 09 party members; lower-level party committees inspected 295 party organizations and 2,755 party members, including 476 party committee members at all levels. After the inspection, 12 party organizations were found to have not performed well and 05 party members had violations and shortcomings; when there were signs of violations, 08 party organizations and 27 party members were inspected. Inspection committees at all levels inspected 22 party organizations and 99 party members when there were signs of violations; inspected 311 party organizations performing the tasks of inspection, supervision, and enforcement of party discipline; inspected party finances regarding the collection, payment, and management of party fees for 165 party organizations and 221 party members.

Regarding the supervision of party organizations and party members, local and unit Party Committees supervised 04 party organizations and 04 party members ; directed Party Committees at all levels to supervise 85 party organizations and 1,879 party members, including 309 Party Committee members at all levels . Inspection Committees at all levels supervised 05 party organizations and 10 Party Committee members; Inspection Committees at lower levels supervised 143 party organizations and 184 party members, including 162 Party Committee members.

The local Party Committees and Inspection Committees received 11 denunciations, complaints and reflections; decided to maintain the disciplinary action for 01 party disciplinary complaint .

Party committees at all levels have considered disciplining 6 party organizations and 415 party members; Inspection committees at all levels have considered disciplining 3 party organizations and 117 party members in various forms.

The inspection of declaration, disclosure and control of assets and income has been proactively carried out by the Inspection Committees at all levels in the IA Department, inspecting 105 cases...

The conference listened to 06 opinions of the delegates participating in the conference, all of which were in high agreement with the report on the results of inspection and supervision work in the first quarter and the direction and tasks of the second quarter of 2024. At the same time , the delegates shared their experiences in performing inspection tasks when there were signs of violations; checking the declaration of assets and income of cadres and party members; leading and implementing inspection and supervision work according to the Party's regulations, contributing to the successful completion of political tasks and preventing and combating corruption and negativity; difficulties and obstacles in leading, directing and organizing the implementation of inspection and supervision tasks and proposing solutions to overcome them in the coming time.

In addition to the achieved results, the inspection and supervision work still has some shortcomings and limitations such as: The construction of the inspection and supervision program for 2024, the inspection and supervision content in some places is still general, lacking focus and key points and focusing on areas that are prone to violations and outstanding issues; the subjects of inspection and supervision are still few and not commensurate with the number of party organizations and party members; many Inspection Committees have not yet carried out inspection, supervision and control of asset and income declaration; the leadership of the party executive committee and party delegation on inspection work is not clear, the coordination with the party committee on inspection and supervision work is still limited; the leadership and direction after inspection, supervision and party discipline of some party committees are not really drastic and comprehensive...

Concluding the Conference, comrade Tran Van Ron, member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Deputy Head of the Central Inspection Commission, received and answered the opinions of the delegates, especially the shortcomings, limitations, difficulties, obstacles, recommendations and proposals. Regarding the key tasks in the second quarter of 2024, comrade Tran Van Ron requested that localities and units under the Department of Localities IA focus on implementing the following tasks: Continue to thoroughly grasp the Party's new documents on inspection and supervision; Party committees, Party organizations, and Inspection Commissions at all levels, especially the heads of Party committees, need to raise awareness of responsibility, strengthen leadership, direction, and guidance for Party committees and Inspection Commissions at lower levels to proactively carry out inspection and supervision work according to the issued program; strictly implement the conclusions of the Central Inspection Commission and functional agencies with the highest sense of responsibility; strengthen regular supervision work; Focus on inspecting and supervising cadres and party members who show signs of degradation in political ideology, ethics, lifestyle, self-evolution, self-transformation, violations of things party members are not allowed to do, violations of exemplary responsibility.../.
