At the conference, delegates listened to Comrade Vu Ngoc Tuan, Director of the General Department, announce the decision of the State Audit to audit the management and use of public finance and public assets in 2022 of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army. Next, Comrade Hoang Thi Hai, Deputy Chief Auditor of the State Audit Department Ia, Head of the audit team, announced the audit plan and issues related to the team's activities.

According to information from the audit team, within 55 days, the team will establish 3 audit teams at agencies, units, enterprises, and basic construction investment projects according to the decision of the State Audit. The audit scope is the 2022 fiscal year and related previous and subsequent periods of the audited units.

The audit content of the delegation focused on the preparation, allocation, assignment and implementation of budget estimates; the management and use of budget revenues and expenditures and public assets; the management of unit funds' revenues and expenditures; financial supervision, performance evaluation and disclosure of financial information of enterprises; capital sources and investment costs for project implementation. Along with that, the delegation audited the compliance with laws, policies, financial management - accounting regimes, and construction investment management of the State in the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army...

Speaking at the conference, General Luong Cuong respectfully welcomed the State Audit Delegation to work and perform audit tasks at the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army; briefly introduced to the delegation the functions, tasks, organization, staffing and special features of the General Department.

General Luong Cuong affirmed that immediately after receiving information about the audit, the leaders of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army organized to disseminate and deploy to the focal agencies and units to proactively do a good job of preparation, be ready to serve, and respond well to the content when the delegation conducted the audit.

General Luong Cuong emphasized that the leaders of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army determined that the audit was an opportunity for the General Department and agencies and units to accurately and thoroughly re-evaluate the results of performing tasks on the audited contents in order to continue to perform better in the coming time. At the same time, this is considered an opportunity for officers and employees of agencies and units to learn and accumulate many valuable lessons, effectively apply them in practice, and further improve the quality of professional work.

In order for the audit to ensure that it meets the set objectives, programs, and plans, General Luong Cuong requested that leaders and commanders of the audited agencies and units continue to thoroughly understand the purpose, significance, and content of the audit; strictly implement the regulations and rules of the audit team. Along with that, prepare well the audit content as required; proactively coordinate and create the best conditions for the members of the team to implement the work content; the functional agencies of the General Department send officers ready to support and help with related content when the audit team has a need.

Regarding the State Audit Delegation, General Luong Cuong hopes that the members of the delegation will actively coordinate, exchange and inform the contents within the permitted scope and regulations. At the same time, enthusiastically answer, share experiences, and clarify the remaining contents so that agencies and units can clearly understand, grasp, and promptly learn from experience, and successfully complete their tasks in the coming time.
