On the morning of June 12, the Women's Union of Hung Ha district held a preliminary review of 5 years of implementing Directive No. 21-CT/TW, dated January 20, 2018 of the Secretariat on continuing to promote women's work in the new situation.

After 5 years of implementing Directive No. 2, Hung Ha district has had many positive changes; the position of women in the family and society has been increasingly affirmed and enhanced; the number and quality of female cadres as leaders and managers in agencies, units and enterprises has increased. Currently, the proportion of women participating in the district Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term is 24.4%, an increase of 9.8% compared to the previous term. The whole district has 20 female comrades who are heads and deputy heads of departments, branches and mass organizations. In the past 5 years, the Women's Union at all levels has introduced and admitted 5,531 female party members, accounting for 41.2% of the total number of party members in the district; organized and implemented 35 classes on preventing and combating domestic violence; 35 topics on preventing and combating abuse of women and children; Established 98 models of love rice jars, 10 models of plastic piggy banks, 195 models of pairs of love leaves...
In the coming time, the District Women's Union will continue to innovate its activities in a practical and professional manner, diversifying the forms of gathering and attracting female members to participate; focusing on training, fostering and building a team of cadres with sufficient qualities, capacity, enthusiasm and responsibility; promoting a proactive, positive and creative role in advising the Party Committee on women's work, caring for and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of female members, making an important contribution to socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security, and realizing the goals of gender equality and women's advancement.
Representatives of the Women's Union and the Elderly Association of Hung Ha district signed a program of coordination activities for the period 2023 - 2028.
At the conference, the District Women's Union coordinated with the District Elderly Association to sign a program of joint activities for the period 2023 - 2028; at the same time, coordinated with SOS Children's Village Thai Binh to implement livelihood projects, guiding households to register their needs for child support in 2023.
