Britney Spears' shocking memoir is about to have a Vietnamese version

The best-selling book about American singer Britney Spears will be released in the country under the name "The Woman in Me".

On March 12, a representative of First News - Tri Viet book company said they beat many other bidders in the auction round to win the copyright to translate the work, which is expected to be released in the second quarter of this year.

The book reveals 13 years of tragedy for Britney Spears. At the age of 18, she became a star when she created the hit Baby One More Time . At that time, Britney's name spread far and wide around the world, and the media affectionately called her "Princess of Pop". Many years later, she continuously received a series of music awards, Guinness World Records, and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

However, the failures in her love life, family pressure and the media affected her mental health and began to decline. In her autobiography, Britney said that the most depressed period of her life was in 2007-2008, when she suffered from many psychological problems, was deprived of custody of her children, was followed by the media and was finally placed under a guardianship. Britney Spears, 43 years old, is known to audiences through songs such as Baby One More Time , Oops!..., I Did It Again , Toxic . During her career, the singer released nine studio albums, received one Grammy and eight Billboard awards.

Spears was placed under the guardianship of her father, Jamie Spears, from 2008 until November 2021, after the scandal of locking herself in her room with her children. The singer went through three divorces with Jason Allen Alexander, Kevin Federline and Sam Asghari.
