Singer Britney Spears' memoir "The Woman in Me" is being made into a movie, directed by Jon M. Chu.

According to Variety On August 1, Universal Studios bought the rights to a book about Britney Spears' life as told by the singer. Director Jon M. Chu will develop the project with producer Marc Platt.

On social media X , Britney wrote: "I'm so excited to share with my fans that I've been working on a secret project with Marc Platt. He always makes movies that I love. Stay tuned." The post attracted 17,000 likes and 776,000 views. Many fans said they were looking forward to the release.

The Woman in Me , Original Name The Woman in Me , exposes 13 years of tragedy for Britney Spears. At 18, she shot to stardom with the hit Baby One More Time . At that time, Britney's name spread far and wide around the world, and the media affectionately called her "Princess of Pop".
