Cao Bang Provincial Press Awards Council awarded 35 outstanding press works

At the meeting, delegates and journalists in the province reviewed the 98th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day and looked back at the results of the provincial press's activities in the past time. The press agencies operated in strict compliance with the provisions of the Press Law; performed well their political tasks, strictly followed the information orientation and information instructions of the competent authorities; focused on truthfully reflecting the political, socio-economic, cultural, national defense-security, and foreign affairs fields of the province, meeting the information needs of the people.

Provincial leaders took photos with authors and groups of authors who won the first Cao Bang Journalism Award in 2023.

Regarding the summary and awarding of the first Cao Bang Press Award in 2023. After 1 year of launching, the award attracted the attention of press agencies, professional and non-professional journalists to submit entries. The award received 81 entries from 41 authors and groups of authors who are members, journalists, and collaborators working at provincial press agencies and central press agencies residing in the province.

The topics of the works are quite diverse, covering the fields of politics, economics , culture and society; closely following current events, especially issues of social concern such as: reflecting the efforts of the Party Committee, government and people of the province in vaccinating against Covid-19; protecting the environment; many works on the topic of studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style; fighting against hostile and erroneous viewpoints and arguments...

The Provincial Press Awards Council awarded prizes to 35 press works of 31 authors and groups of authors, including: 3 A prizes, 8 B prizes, 12 C prizes and 12 consolation prizes.
