Lam Dong Provincial Journalists Association awarded Certificates to 20 high-quality journalistic works

(CLO) On the afternoon of February 21, the Lam Dong Provincial Journalists Association held a conference to review activities in 2024, deploy tasks in 2025 and activities to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day. At the same time, certificates were awarded to authors with high-quality journalistic works in 2024.

At the Conference, Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial Journalists Association Le Van Toa informed: In 2024, the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and Standing Committee of the Provincial Journalists Association focused on direction and administration, always closely following the Party's directives and resolutions, programs, plans, and the Charter of the Vietnam Journalists Association; directive documents of the Provincial Party Committee, Provincial People's Committee, and Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department on press direction and management, and proposing appropriate work programs that are close to the actual situation.

The activities of the Provincial Journalists Association continued to be maintained stably and become more substantial. The Association chaired and coordinated with the provincial press agencies to organize many rich and practical professional activities.

In addition, with the responsibility of the Emulation Cluster Leader of the Journalists Association of the Central Highlands provinces, the Provincial Journalists Association has promoted the spirit of solidarity, collective thinking, collective responsibility and achieved many encouraging results. The Provincial Journalists Association has successfully organized press awards such as organizing the judging and awarding of the 20th Provincial Press Award to 32 outstanding works; participating in the National Press Award; coordinating with the Provincial Labor Federation to organize the 2nd Workers' Movement and Trade Union Activities Press Award in 2024; participating in the 1st Central Highlands Press Award - 2024; Lam Dong Journalists Association members won the A Prize.

Regarding the key tasks in 2025, the Provincial Journalists Association will promote propaganda and successfully implement the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, the Resolution of the 11th National Congress of the Vietnam Journalists Association, the amended and supplemented Charter of the Vietnam Journalists Association (Term XI) to all members, and the Resolution of the 11th National Congress of the Provincial Party Committee. Continue to promote the implementation of Directive 05 of the Politburo on "Promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle".

On this occasion, Lam Dong Provincial Journalists Association awarded the High Quality Journalism Award to 20 works with 42 authors in various categories including print, E.Magazine, Mega Story, Infographic; radio, television, press photos... According to the assessment, the authors who won the High Quality Journalism Award in 2024 have demonstrated diversity, expanding to new types of journalism... Thereby, more fully meeting the diversity of modern journalism life.
