On the morning of November 22, the Provincial Association of War Veterans held a meeting to honor typical and advanced War Veterans Association Chairmen, on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam War Veterans Association on December 6 (1989-2024), the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army on December 22 (1944-2024) and the 35th anniversary of the National Defense Day on December 22 (1989-2024).
At the conference, delegates reviewed the glorious tradition of 35 years of establishment, construction and development of the Vietnam Veterans Association and the Quang Ninh Provincial Veterans Association, associated with the development stages of the province. Thereby, it was affirmed that the Vietnam Veterans Association is an absolutely loyal revolutionary force of the Party; a political and social organization, a reliable support for the Party, authorities at all levels and the people, especially at the grassroots level. In response to the requirements of revolutionary tasks in the new period, generations of Veterans Associations in Quang Ninh province always promote the nature and tradition of "Uncle Ho's soldiers", the tradition of "Loyalty - Solidarity - Exemplary - Innovation".
The team of War Veterans Association Branch Leaders in the whole province currently has 1,802 comrades, residing widely in all residential areas, working in many agencies, units, and organizations at all levels. This team is constantly growing in both quality and quantity, has the capacity and skills to gather, motivate, and encourage the force of War Veterans in its branches to operate enthusiastically. This shows that the War Veterans Association in Quang Ninh has been and is being built strongly from the grassroots; contributing to the overall and comprehensive achievements of the provincial War Veterans Association, striving to successfully complete the Resolution of the Party Congress, the Resolution of the War Veterans Association Congress at all levels associated with the political tasks in the locality.
At the conference, the Executive Committee of the Provincial Veterans Association commended and awarded Certificates of Merit to 62 comrades who are Veterans Association Branch Chairmen with outstanding achievements in building a clean and strong grassroots organization of the Association.
Colonel Dam Huy Dac, member of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Veterans Association, Chairman of the Provincial Veterans Association, requested the team of War Veterans Association Branch Leaders in the province to strive to better complete a number of key tasks, meeting the requirements set forth in the new revolutionary period. Including: Continuing to mobilize the War Veterans force to unite, maintain and promote the traditional nature of "Uncle Ho's Army", have a strong political stance; actively participate in building and protecting the Party, the State, the People and the socialist regime. At the same time, proactively participate in implementing regimes and policies, protecting the legitimate rights and interests of War Veterans Association members; well implement the coordination regulations with departments, branches and organizations; actively participate in campaigns, movements and programs to develop culture - society, national defense - security in the locality; actively participate in educating patriotism, love of socialism and revolutionary heroism for the young generation...
