According to Engadget , after numerous announcements of release delays, Hogwarts Legacy is now available for the Nintendo Switch handheld gaming console.
The Harry Potter-themed wizarding game was previously released in February of this year for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, followed by PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions in May. However, the Switch release encountered problems; initially delayed until July, fans had to wait until November 14th to experience it.
Hogwarts Legacy has arrived on Nintendo Switch.
The developers of Hogwarts Legacy stated that the Switch version was delayed in order to create the best possible experience for players. The Switch's outdated hardware may also have contributed to the delay, as this isn't the first time third-party publishers have encountered obstacles in deploying their games on Nintendo's seven-year-old console.
Hogwarts Legacy is based on the popular Harry Potter series, a prequel set over a hundred years before Harry and his friends entered the wizarding school. The game allows players to customize their characters, choose which Hogwarts House to join, and learn magical skills.
The game is currently available on the Nintendo Store for $60 (approximately 1.4 million VND). There is also a premium version, Hogwarts Legacy: Digital Deluxe Edition , which includes the Dark Arts Pack and a new arena, priced at $70 (approximately 1.7 million VND).
Since its release, Hogwarts Legacy has sold millions of copies, making it one of the best-selling games of 2023 so far.
