Completed construction of 220kV Hoa Khanh - Hai Chau power line

DNO - On May 12, Vice Chairman of Lien Chieu District People's Committee Huynh Anh Vu said that with the consensus and support of the people, the last column (from column VT01 to VT02) of the 220kV Hoa Khanh - Hai Chau power line (belonging to the 220kV Hai Chau Transformer Station project and the 220kV Hoa Khanh - Hai Chau power line) has been completed .

Although there are still some households that have not received compensation for damages and impacts caused by the 220kV Hoa Khanh - Hai Chau power line corridor and some households are being proposed for additional support, the people have agreed to hand over the corridor and support the land for the construction of the power line.

“This is an urgent and very important power project. Following the direction of the City People's Committee, the People's Committee of Lien Chieu District has actively coordinated and implemented, focusing on mass mobilization work to serve the construction and completion of the project 4 months ahead of schedule assigned by the City People's Committee, in order to ensure power supply for the center of Da Nang city and national energy security during the hot season this year", said Mr. Huynh Anh Vu.

Mr. Nguyen Duy Minh (Group 75, Hoa Khanh Bac Ward, Lien Chieu District) said: "Although we have not received enough money to support the damage to the corridor and have not been resolved for additional and arising support, my family and the households in the area have created conditions for the construction unit to deploy equipment, machinery... within 1 week to complete the wire pulling construction early.

Now that the project is completed, people hope that the higher authorities will soon resolve their petitions and pay the support, especially the additional support.

According to Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade Nguyen Thi Thuy Mai, when the 220kV Hoa Khanh - Hai Chau transmission line encountered problems during construction, the Central Power Project Management Board informed and reported to the Department of Industry and Trade.

On that basis, the Department reported to the leaders of the City People's Committee and directly worked with the District Party Committee and the People's Committee of Lien Chieu District to coordinate and implement related tasks. Currently, the construction work has been completed and is being prepared for power connection.

“According to information from the Central Power Project Management Board, the Hai Chau 220kV Transformer Station project and the Hoa Khanh - Hai Chau 220kV power line will be energized in May 2024.

Regarding the petitions of people affected by the 220kV power line corridor, Lien Chieu district will submit and propose to the City People's Committee additional support levels that are appropriate and harmonious," informed Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Mai.
