During a recent visit to Kaga City, Japan, Vietnam's representative at Miss International 2024 - Thanh Thuy had memorable experiences and emotional moments.

At Kaga City Hall, Thanh Thuy could not hold back her emotions and burst into tears when she saw the red flag with yellow star being raised high by fans to welcome her.

In a short video interview with an audience, Thanh Thuy shared that what made her happiest while in Japan was when she met Japanese people and they said "hello" to her. Such simple moments helped her feel closer and warmer even though she was far away from home.

Many viewers expressed sympathy for Thanh Thuy's reaction: "I was feeling anxious and pressured, but hearing a familiar voice immediately dispelled it" and understood that the emotional moments had given the beauty positive energy during her competition journey.

Previously, in a backstage clip when Thanh Thuy was adjusting her name ribbon during the national costume competition, an audience member greeted her in Vietnamese, Thanh Thuy happily waved back.

Thanh Thuy explores Japanese culture:

Besides the contest activities, Thanh Thuy also had the opportunity to experience Japanese culture by wearing a traditional kimono.

In another activity, Thanh Thuy had the opportunity to interact with local children. She expressed her emotions when watching the performances and receiving handmade cards from the children.

The beauty shared: "Children's smiles can brighten the darkest day and bring pure happiness to our hearts."

She also emphasized the connection between this experience and the United Nations sustainable development goals, especially SDG 4 (QualityEducation ) and SDG 16 (Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions).

According to the announced schedule, the semi-finals and finals of Miss International 2024 will take place on November 10 and November 12.
