Miss H'Hen Nie participates in communication "For a drug-free community" for nearly 1,000 students in Quang Tri

Tonight, December 28, at the Hall of the Central Cultural House of Dong Ha City, Quang Tri Provincial Police coordinated with the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department under the Ministry of Public Security and the Vietnam Drama Theater to organize the Communication Program "For a drug-free community".

At the communication session, representatives of departments, agencies, organizations, units, schools and nearly 1,000 students from secondary schools, high schools and colleges in Dong Ha city were vividly informed about the dangers of drugs and drug prevention and control through political sketches; art exchange activities, sharing and interacting with games on the topic of drug prevention and control with singers and artists.

In particular, at the program, Miss Universe Vietnam 2017 H'Hen Nie interacted and shared knowledge and skills in drug prevention and control; together with experts, she consulted and answered questions related to drugs and drug prevention and control laws with students such as: Harmful effects of opium, synthetic drugs, electronic cigarettes; messages to stay away from drugs: "Do not try drugs even once", "All people say no to drugs", "Join hands to protect the young generation from the dangers of drugs"... attracting the participation of a large number of students.

It is known that the situation of drug crimes and drug addiction in the country in general and Quang Tri province in particular is still very complicated, the economic damage caused by drugs is huge. Drugs are considered the source of crime, giving rise to various types of criminal offenses, prostitution and HIV/AIDS infection; the health, mental, cultural and social damage caused by drugs is immeasurable.

Through the propaganda session, the aim is to raise public awareness of the harmful effects of drugs; encourage everyone to participate in the fight against drugs, especially creating a bridge to connect the community with agencies, departments, organizations, units and the community in drug prevention and control work to build a safe, healthy and good future.
