Miss H'Hen Nie and nearly 150 Vietnamese artists join hands "For Children's Smiles 2023"

Meritorious Artist Trinh Kim Chi, MC Quynh Hoa, Designer Viet Hung, Miss H'Hen Nie and nearly 150 volunteer artists from Ho Chi Minh City will join hands in a special Art night called For Children's Smiles 2023.

The program aims to raise funds to share love with 800 disadvantaged children in Bac Ai district, Ninh Thuan province and will take place on the evening of July 13 at Khang Media Studio, Go Vap district, Ho Chi Minh City.

MC Quynh Hoa, Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Cultural House and Captain of the City's Artist Volunteer Team, said that in addition to the humanitarian significance of the music night, the program also marked the team's two-year anniversary.

Because of the Children's Smile, which was carefully prepared with more than 20 performances, directed by Hoa Yen and Ngoc Duyen, this is also marked as an outstanding activity of the Team in 2023. The program gathered a large number of artists to participate with a voluntary spirit, contributing to this meaningful program.

The music night featured famous artists such as: Artists Cam Van, Khac Trieu, Cam Ly, Quoc Dai, Nguyen Phi Hung, Ngoc Linh, Le Minh (MTV group), Kyo York, Quach Tuan Du, Phu Sa group, May Trang group, VMusic group and members of the team such as Doan Dai Hoa, Truc Lai, Duong Ngoc Ha, Thy Lu, Thach Thao, Le Thu Uyen...

Despite being busy with their personal schedules, the artists have arranged time to practice carefully for each of their performances.

According to the plan, the art program For Children's Smiles 2023 will call for support of 500 million VND to carry out charity activities after the music night.

MC Quynh Hoa said that after the concert, the donated money will be used to install 34 solar-powered lights, repair 2 dilapidated toilets (in schools), give 800 gifts to disadvantaged students, and organize art performances to serve people in Bac Ai district, Ninh Thuan province.

"This is the most difficult locality in Ninh Thuan province, so we hope to join hands with the local government to help ease the difficulties of the people and children," MC Quynh Hoa shared.

The program organizers hope that, with the meaning of the program, there will be more benefactors joining hands to help the people here.

With the advantage of having many artists participating, the director had special combinations such as the first time Meritorious Artist Trinh Kim Chi combined with Phu Sa group; little Thien Nga - Champion of Net dep doi vien 2023 had a specially staged performance with 20 actors of Bong Sen National Music and Dance Theater and the combination of Cam Ly, Quoc Dai, Van Mai Huong and including performances by Misses, Runners-up and MCs.

In particular, the program opened with the songs "Ngan uoc mo Viet Nam" and "Thuong qua Viet Nam" performed by more than 50 artists.

This special art program does not sell tickets, but gives tickets to the audience who donates (Audiences who donate 500,000 VND will receive an invitation). The music night is expected to have 500-600 seats for the audience.

The Artist Volunteer Team was established right when the Covid 19 pandemic broke out in Go Vap in 2021. With extremely practical activities and a very strong influence, from the initial members, up to now, the Artist Volunteer Team has reached nearly 150 people.

During the stressful pandemic, the team participated in many activities such as supporting sample collection, vaccination support, cleaning dormitories to become quarantine areas, transporting goods, giving gifts to checkpoints, cutting hair and performing for doctors, nurses, and medical staff at field hospitals, giving gifts to support the epidemic season for people in locked-down areas, remote areas of the city such as Can Gio island district...

After the pandemic ended, the Artist Volunteer Team became a member of the City Youth Union and continued to participate in volunteer activities. With the motto "Going to places that need us", the team organized many performances to serve children and the elderly in centers for the disabled, nursing homes, participated in cleaning and clearing the flow in some polluted areas in the city, participated in performances to serve soldiers in Truong Sa, supported performances to serve and give gifts to people in difficult circumstances in Can Gio island district... In the 2023 Summer Volunteer Campaign, the Artist Volunteer Team is an active force in the Green Summer Campaign.
