On the morning of January 24, the Provincial Young Entrepreneurs Association coordinated with the Provincial Youth Union and Xuan Khiem Group to repair and hand over a house to Ms. Ban Thi Doan's family in Dong Bai village, Quang Lac commune (Nho Quan).
Ms. Ban Thi Doan’s family is a Muong ethnic Catholic household in particularly difficult circumstances. In 2020, her husband died in a work accident, leaving behind 3 school-age children. Recently, Ms. Doan was diagnosed with cancer and is undergoing treatment at great expense, while having no source of income. The house where she and her children live is also seriously degraded.
Understanding the difficult circumstances of the family, the Provincial Young Entrepreneurs Association called on the business community to join hands to help and support the house repair for Ms. Doan’s family. The house repair was carried out and completed on January 24, with a total cost of 150 million VND; at the same time, purchasing household appliances to support the family.
This is one of the activities within the program "Spring of connection, Tet of love" organized by the Provincial Young Entrepreneurs Association every Tet holiday to support people in difficult circumstances to have a happy and warm Tet. This year, the program was launched from January 22 to January 31, and will organize the giving of more than 300 gifts to policy families, households in difficult circumstances, and poor children with the amount of 500 thousand VND/gift and 2 banh chung dong.
