Poor households according to the multidimensional poverty standard of Dakrong district maintain a reduction of over 5%/year.

According to the report of the People's Committee of Dakrong district, Quang Tri province, in the period of 2021-2025, the locality will benefit from all 3 national target programs (sustainable poverty reduction; new rural construction and socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas). With the high determination of the entire political system, overcoming all difficulties, constantly being creative in organizing and implementing programs, promptly finding solutions to remove and overcome them, up to now, the capital (both investment capital and career capital) of all 3 programs have been and are being implemented at the grassroots level, initially achieving positive results.

Thanks to that, in the period of 2021-2024, the poverty rate according to multidimensional poverty standards in the district will maintain a reduction of over 5%/year, achieving the target specified in Decision 90/QD-TTg dated January 18, 2022 of the Prime Minister (the poverty rate in poor districts will decrease by 4% - 5%/year).

In general, support policies on healthcare, education - training, vocational training, job creation for the poor, housing construction for poor households, legal aid for the poor and ethnic minorities, preferential credit, electricity bill support for poor households, near-poor households and other policy beneficiaries have been directed to be implemented promptly and in accordance with regulations.

Thanks to that, the material and spiritual life of people in the district is increasingly improved, contributing to the effective implementation of sustainable poverty reduction and promoting socio-economic development in the locality.
