What did coach Tran Tien Dai reveal about Quang Hai and Mr. Mano Polking?

Hanoi Police Club suffered its second consecutive defeat in the V-League, when it was defeated 2-1 by Ho Chi Minh City Club at Thong Nhat Stadium on the evening of May 21, in a match of round 20. After the match, Coach Tran Tien Dai shared: "Obviously with two consecutive defeats, the goal of being in the top 3 will become very difficult for us. But when I was appointed as head coach, the team's leadership only set the goal of achieving the highest possible ranking."

Coach Tran Tien Dai and Hanoi Police Club lost 2 consecutive matches, since coach Kiatisak suddenly resigned.

In this match, coach Tran Tien Dai did not put Quang Hai on the field from the start. The star born in 1997 entered the field from the bench from the beginning of the second half. Regarding this decision, Mr. Dai explained: "Quang Hai played continuously so he felt tired. The reason I changed the starting personnel did not stem from Quang Hai's contract. Regarding the information that Quang Hai will leave the Hanoi Police Club at the end of this season, let the team's leaders answer and Hai himself speak. I think Quang Hai wants to play for Hanoi Police."

The head coach of the Hanoi Police Club also revealed the negotiations with Coach Mano Polking. Mr. Tran Tien Dai said that the process of pursuing Mr. Polking has been carried out by the police team for more than a season. "When the Hanoi Police Club contacted Coach Polking, he still had a contract with Thai football. Mr. Polking wanted to wait until the end of the contract before leaving, which would be happy for both sides," Mr. Dai said.

As Thanh Nien reported, Coach Polking will return to Vietnam on May 23 to start his new job at the Hanoi Police Club.

Coach Tran Tien Dai was registered to lead the Hanoi Police Club in rounds 19 and 20. Regarding the match in round 21 against The Cong Viettel (7:15 p.m. on May 26), Mr. Dai said he "has not yet received instructions from superiors" on whether to continue leading the Hanoi Police team or not.
