(To Quoc) - The exhibition introduces to the public 200 paintings, graphics, and sculptures by nearly 200 artists from all over the country. This is the first exhibition at the new facility of the Vietnam Military History Museum.

On November 15, to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army; 35 years of National Defense Day, the Vietnam Military History Museum and the Vietnam Military History Museum organized a national fine arts exhibition on the theme "Armed Forces - Revolutionary War" to introduce to the public 200 typical paintings, graphics, and sculptures by 193 artists and sculptors created in the period 2019-2024.


In order to introduce to the public the most typical works of art on the theme of "Armed Forces - Revolutionary War" in the period of 2019-2024, the Organizing Committee has selected 200 works by 193 authors to display at the exhibition.

The event introduces to the public 200 works of painting, graphics, and sculpture.

The works reflect a variety of themes.

Previously, the Organizing Committee received 644 works from 407 authors across the province and city (an increase of 150 works compared to the period 2014 - 2019).

Regarding painting, the exhibition introduces 150 works with diverse materials, rich in form and content.

Author Do Ba Quang introduces to visitors the work "Fire Front Workers" he composed on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory.

Many authors show their passion and creative innovation in art through works on the theme "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and style."

Delegates visit works on the topic of Truong Sa.


Author Le Xuan Quang shares images of soldiers marching through the forest in the spring of 1968.

The exhibition is an opportunity to honor artists inside and outside the Army who have enthusiastically responded to the Art Creation Campaign on the theme "Armed Forces - Revolutionary War" (2019-2024 period).


This is also an opportunity for authors to meet and exchange with each other.

Author Bui Vi Hoai shares about his work "Hanoi in the Straw Hat Era". He created the image of a female militia taking her child to school during the time when Hanoi was being bombed by B52s.


The exhibition is open to visitors from November 15 to March 2025.
