Principal resigns early

On the afternoon of November 4, the Department of Education and Training of Thua Thien - Hue province confirmed that it had submitted the information to the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee to request approval and consider the early resignation application of Mr. Ngo Duc Thuc, Principal of Hai Ba Trung High School.

Accordingly, Mr. Thuc submitted a petition to the Department of Education and Training of Thua Thien - Hue province on September 9, before the announcement of the comprehensive administrative inspection conclusion of Hai Ba Trung High School.

As Thanh Nien reported, after the incident in which a female teacher at Hai Ba Trung High School was "chased" out of the classroom by her colleague using her hands and words in front of students (which took place in October 2022), the Department of Education and Training Inspectorate conducted a comprehensive inspection of this unit.

As a result, Mr. Ngo Duc Thuc was directly involved in the incident; at the same time, he was "involved" in a number of violations and shortcomings in the operation and management of the school's revenue, expenditure and finances.

Based on regulations, the Department of Education and Training issued a disciplinary warning decision against Mr. Ngo Duc Thuc.

On the afternoon of October 2, the Disciplinary Council of Hai Ba Trung High School also decided to issue a disciplinary warning to Mr. Nguyen Duc Phong, head of the national defense physical education group of Hai Ba Trung High School.

Mr. Phong was the one who used his hands and words to "chase" Ms. Ho Thi Tam (literature teacher) out of the classroom, in front of the students. Ms. Ho Thi Tam was criticized and did not receive any form of discipline.
