Effectiveness from topics on studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style

From a province facing many difficulties, summarized by three words: “difficult, dry, miserable”, today Binh Thuan has risen up, becoming a livable place, an attractive destination for investors. That result comes from the fact that the Party Committee, government and people of Binh Thuan have continuously studied and followed the ideology, morality and style of Ho Chi Minh.

Every year, Binh Thuan Provincial Party Committee has organized to study and thoroughly grasp the topics of studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle according to the Central's orientation. Since then, studying and following Uncle Ho has become a routine, creating a sense of self-awareness and responsibility among cadres, party members and people in the province.

Recently, the Provincial Party Committee organized a 2024 symposium with the theme "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and style on practicing democracy and strengthening the rule of law, ensuring social discipline". The conference was organized in a combination of direct and online formats between the Provincial Conference Center and the district, town, city Party Committees, and Party Committees of the Provincial Agencies and Enterprises. The conference attracted 7,722 cadres, party members, civil servants, and public employees in the whole province to attend. This symposium, cadre, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Quoc Dung - Director of the Regional Political Academy II, disseminated Ho Chi Minh's ideology, the Communist Party of Vietnam's viewpoints on practicing democracy, strengthening the rule of law, and ensuring social discipline. Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Quoc Dung said that Ho Chi Minh's thoughts on practicing democracy and strengthening the rule of law, ensuring social discipline are valuable spiritual assets for our Party, State and People in the process of building and renewing the country. "According to Ho Chi Minh's thoughts, our State is a State of the People, by the People, for the People. He always paid attention to and worked hard to educate and train cadres and Party members to regularly cultivate and practice revolutionary ethics, enhance the spirit of serving the Fatherland and the People" - Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Quoc Dung emphasized.

Previously, the 2023 theme, "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style on promoting cultural values and the strength of the Vietnamese people in the cause of national construction and defense" was also widely and effectively implemented. The Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee also invited scientists and experts to directly convey the theme to cadres and party members from the province to the grassroots. Many cadres and party members said that through studying and researching, it has helped Party committees at all levels, Party organizations, cadres, party members and union members grasp the basic and core content of each year's theme. Thereby creating positive changes and making an important contribution to the work of Party building and rectification as well as arousing strong will and aspirations to build an increasingly civilized and beautiful homeland.

In 2006, the Politburo (10th tenure) issued Directive No. 06-CT/TW on organizing the Campaign "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's moral example" throughout the Party and the entire people. On May 14, 2011, the Politburo issued Directive 03-CT/TW. Five years later, on May 15, 2016, Directive No. 05-CT/TW of the Politburo on "Promoting studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle" was issued. And on May 18, 2021, the Politburo issued Conclusion No. 01-KL/TW on continuing to implement Directive No. 05-CT/TW on "Promoting studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle". Along with the whole country, in recent years, Binh Thuan has organized and implemented the study and follow of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style with a sense of responsibility to the Party and the people to increasingly better meet the tasks in the new situation. Many creative and practical ways have been implemented, thereby bringing about positive results, creating a strong and widespread influence among cadres, party members and people of all walks of life in the province. In the process of building the topics of studying and following Uncle Ho, Binh Thuan always clearly identifies each group of key tasks according to the stages, in which the core focuses on tasks such as: Promoting the responsibility of setting an example for leaders and managers at all levels; practicing democracy and discipline in the work of building and rectifying the Party; studying and following Uncle Ho in conjunction with emulation movements to carry out the province's key political tasks.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Hoai Anh said: Over the years, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee has developed and implemented the topics of studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style, achieving positive results. Many good models, effective, practical and typical advanced methods have been widely replicated. The Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee also said that through the development and implementation of the topics, it will be an opportunity for cadres and party members, especially the team of leaders and managers to grasp the basic contents of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style, the Party's viewpoints and policies. From there, continue to enhance the sense of responsibility, be exemplary in work, practice pure revolutionary ethics, promote the spirit, awareness and responsibility of oneself, contribute to the struggle to firmly protect the Party's ideological foundation, successfully implement Directive 05 in the province; contributing to strengthening the people's trust in the Party's leadership, creating consensus and high solidarity in the determination to successfully implement the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, the Resolution of the 14th Provincial Party Congress and the Resolutions of Party Congresses at all levels.
