At the Closing Ceremony, leaders of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism commended the outstanding results achieved by the Vietnamese Sports Delegation at the sports festival, and encouraged Vietnam's top coaches and athletes to continue to make their best efforts for the upcoming challenging goals at the 2023 Asian Games (ASIAD 2023) and the 2024 Olympic Games.

The 32nd Southeast Asian Games witnessed the first time that Vietnamese sports came out on top at a Games held outside of its territory, topping the medal tally with 136 gold medals, 104 silver medals, and 114 bronze medals.
Herbalife has provided nutritional products to support Vietnam's top athletes to maintain and enhance their energy and strength throughout the competition. Representatives of Herbalife Vietnam also accompanied the Vietnam Sports Delegation to encourage and award prizes to all the excellent athletes who won gold medals at this Sports Festival.
