Exciting Pickleball Youth Tournament 2024 VINFAST Cup takes place on 6

Tennis player Ly Minh Tan won silver medal at the 2024 Asian Open Pickelball Tournament in Ho Chi Minh City.

Although a new sport introduced to Vietnam, pickleball is growing at an impressive rate, as shown by the number of players and fields blooming across the provinces.

Not too demanding in terms of talent, physical strength and endurance, pickleball is considered a community sport, suitable for the majority of people, regardless of age or gender, providing more options for people to practice sports.

With many years of experience in organizing sports playgrounds, Thanh Nien Newspaper has developed a plan to organize the 2024 VINFAST Cup Youth Pickleball Tournament with the main sponsor VINFAST, taking place at Lan Anh Club (291 Cach Mang Thang Tam Street, Ward 12, District 10, Ho Chi Minh City), on July 6-7, 2024.

The tournament is expected to have 7 competitions including 3 for beginners: Newbie Men's Doubles, Newbie Women's Doubles, Newbie Mixed Doubles and 4 Super Cup events (gathering athletes who have won domestic and international Open tournaments), Open Doubles (free registration, except for athletes who present Super Cup), Children under 13 years old (born after January 1, 2011) and Team events.

Accordingly, the Newbie Women's Doubles, Newbie Mixed Doubles, Open Doubles, and Super Cup events will take place on July 6, while the Team, Newbie Men's Doubles, and Children's events will compete on July 7 on the soccer fields of Lan Anh Club.

The 2024 VINFAST Cup Youth Pickleball Tournament has an attractive prize structure of up to 500 million VND including cash and gifts.

Pickleball Vietnam won 2 silver medals and 1 bronze medal at the Asian Championship

The winning team in the Team category will receive a trophy, a plaque, a gold medal and a prize of 30 million VND; the runner-up team will receive a plaque, a silver medal and a prize of 15 million VND; the third-place team will receive a plaque, a bronze medal and a prize of 5 million VND.

The Super Cup champion couple will receive a gold medal, gifts and a prize of 20 million VND; the runner-up couple will receive a silver medal, gifts and a prize of 10 million VND; the third-place couple will receive a bronze medal, gifts and a prize of 5 million VND.

The winning pair of the Open Doubles event will receive a gold medal, gifts and a prize of 10 million VND; the runner-up pair will receive a silver medal, gifts and a prize of 5 million VND; the third-place pair will receive a bronze medal, gifts and 2 million VND.

The contents of Newbie Men's Doubles, Newbie Women's Doubles, Newbie Mixed Doubles will be screened by the Expert Council and the Organizing Committee. The remaining contents will be registered according to the form here.

Newbie Men's Doubles, Newbie Women's Doubles, Newbie Mixed Doubles and Kids are free of charge.

Open Doubles, Super Cup: 1,000,000 VND (one million VND); Team: 4,000,000 VND (four million VND). The deadline for registration is July 2, 2024. The Organizing Committee will give priority to athletes/teams of athletes who register early, are valid and pay the fee early.
