Parents are the greatest inspiration
Throughout his journey to becoming a double valedictorian, his parents were the greatest source of motivation to help Vo Lap Phuc overcome all difficulties in life. Phuc said that although his father and mother did not finish primary school, his family always created the best learning conditions for him. The proof is that Phuc was exposed to English since he was in first grade.

In 8th grade, Phuc accidentally read the book World Order by Henry Kissinger (Secretary of State under Presidents Richard Nixon and Gerald Ford), and then became interested in international knowledge. Soon after, Phuc learned and researched the science of international relations. With early access to English and support from his family, Phuc decided to pursue international studies at Ho Chi Minh City University of Education. To achieve the double valedictorian achievement of Ho Chi Minh City University of Education, Phuc affirmed that his parents contributed greatly. His family gave him the perspective and awareness that a degree does not completely determine a person's level. A medal does not completely determine a person's honor. Therefore, the young man always strives to strive, putting all his heart into conquering something. Phuc believes that the experiences throughout the journey are the most valuable things. "I was born and raised in a family where I am the only asset and trust of my parents. I know and understand that what I am studying and investing in is not only the result of a degree or title, but also the responsibility towards my parents, for the smile and confidence of my family," Phuc was moved when sharing about his family. During his journey at Ho Chi Minh City University of Education, Phuc achieved many achievements in studying and training such as: the title of "5 Good Students" at the Central level for 2 consecutive years; the "January Star" award, first prize at the 7th International Student Science Forum in 2023. Besides, Phuc also participated in many international exchange and integration programs...
Learned a lot from college journey
In addition to his school hours, Phuc participates in many Youth Union and Association activities. There, he has many positive relationships. "I learned many things from other relationships, such as discipline at work, sense of responsibility... I cherish the relationships I have throughout my university journey," Phuc expressed.

Phuc also confided that during his university journey, he found a special companion. They always trusted, loved and guided Phuc with profound perspectives. Right from the first days of entering university, Phuc realized that the environment in the lecture hall was not purely educational knowledge but a way of thinking. Therefore, Phuc believes that focusing on studying is not only about receiving information but also forming the ability to conduct independent research, applying it to practice to cultivate and promote his own value to the community. Throughout high school to university, Phuc has always been proactive in everything, from studying to connecting with teachers, searching and establishing social relationships. "Being proactive helps me easily find the values that I believe in, knowing how to behave appropriately in relationships," Phuc expressed. Phuc was almost completely financially independent, from tuition to living expenses during his 4 years of university. Right from entering university, the male student looked for part-time jobs related to his major. "I want studying to be a motivation, a joy, and a source of pride for my parents, not an additional financial burden on my family. Before entering university, my family had an accident that affected my parents' savings," Phuc said. Phuc's biggest difficulty was not being able to balance his time between studying, working part-time, and participating in extracurricular activities. Once, Phuc was stressed and hospitalized because he had to do too many things at once, running 3 programs at the same time. After that, the young man gradually realized the importance of health and the lesson of prioritizing work. "I make a list of daily and weekly schedules and arrange them in order of priority in terms of time and importance. I will do the important and urgent things first. That is the most valuable lesson that you can learn to solve time constraints in the work process," Phuc shared. Dr. Bui Tran Quynh Ngoc, Vice Principal of Ho Chi Minh City University of Education, said: "As an individual who has been trained and gradually matured from the work of the Youth Union - Association, Vo Lap Phuc is a truly outstanding example in academics, expertise and extracurricular activities." Dr. Ngoc also said that at school, Phuc was assigned to be in charge of international integration activities for the student community. Phuc is a typical "student leader" when he pioneered in proposing and realizing many ideas to create conditions for the student community to have an environment to practice, broaden their vision and integration thinking.
