The attraction of the admissions fair
Starting from the end of 2024, the Miss Vietnam contest is starting to heat up again with the recruitment part starting from January 9 to February 26 at four locations: Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang and Hue.
The Miss Vietnam 2024 contest will be held in 2025. Previously, Miss Vietnam held the tradition of holding it every two years. Although the schedule is later than every year, many contestants are still eagerly waiting.
As soon as the admission schedule was announced, the contest received attention from university students. Admission sessions in Hanoi at the Diplomatic Academy and the School of Interdisciplinary Sciences and Arts - Hanoi National University attracted the participation of thousands of students.
Not only the beauty queens of the schools where the recruitment is taking place, beauty queens from other universities who heard the information came and expressed their desire to participate in Miss Vietnam 2024.
At the Diplomatic Academy - where the beauty pageant recruitment event kicked off - students lined up early to check in. At the end of the event, many students stayed to interact with Miss Do Thi Ha.
Miss Diplomatic Academy Nguyen Thi Xuan Linh shared that she had long cherished the dream of becoming a contestant in the Miss Vietnam contest, but it was not until her fourth year of university that she was confident enough to register.
Miss FPT University Da Nang Truong Tam Nhu shared that due to her schedule, she could not attend the recruitment fair in Da Nang. Afterwards, she had to wake up at 5am, take a shared bus to Hue to attend the recruitment at Hue University - the last stop of the Miss Vietnam 2024 recruitment tour.
The Miss Vietnam 2024 recruitment festival has really created a great attraction for young people. Notably, the festival not only attracted female students to participate but also a large number of male students to learn about the most prestigious beauty contest in Vietnam today.

A powerful line-up of beauty queens
The Miss Vietnam Admissions Day attracted a large number of beauty queens and runners-up from universities to learn information and show their talents.
At the Miss Vietnam recruitment day at the Diplomatic Academy, Miss University of Commerce Tran Minh Thu submitted her application for the contest. She said she has long cherished the dream of winning the Miss Vietnam crown, considering it the most prestigious beauty contest in the country. Minh Thu attracted attention with her outstanding height of 1.77 m and her plump, clear face.
At the admissions fair at Hanoi National University, Nguyen Thi Hai Yen, a student at the School of Interdisciplinary Sciences and Arts (SIS) - Hanoi National University, and also the SIS Shine 2024 Elegant Student Beauty Queen, decided to register for Miss Vietnam 2024 after hearing the answers from the organizing committee. According to Hai Yen, Miss Vietnam is a precious title, opening up great opportunities for the crown holder to develop and improve themselves.
Ha Truc Linh - Miss University of Finance - Marketing 2023 - decided to register for Miss Vietnam 2024. She has faced many criticisms about her dark skin. However, she believes that her skin color is what makes her different from other contestants in the Miss Vietnam 2024 contest.
Tran Thi Huyen Co - Miss University of Finance - Marketing 2023 runner-up has also registered for the contest. She was born in 2003, a final year student of the Faculty of Business Administration at the University of Finance - Marketing. She is 1.73 m tall, with measurements of 80-60-92 cm. To compete in Miss Vietnam 2024, the beauty carefully prepared her catwalk and foreign language skills, and at the same time built a charity project.
Pham Thi Quynh Nhu - Miss Saigon International University 2023 - attended the admissions fair at the University of Finance and Marketing (UFM). She is 1.72 m tall and comes from Ha Tinh. Quynh Nhu confidently demonstrated her fluent English speaking ability at the admissions ceremony.
Miss FPT University Da Nang Truong Tam Nhu attended the admissions meeting at Hue University. Coming to the contest, she hopes that she has enough confidence, beauty, intelligence, dedication and influence to bring the 19th crown of the Miss Vietnam contest to Hue City. Tam Nhu has an IELTS level of 7.0.

Appearing at the recruitment series, the contestants confidently showed off their pure, rustic beauty, appropriate for the age group of 18-20, but no less attractive. Many charming, elegant faces created sympathy.
Contestants are interested in cosmetic surgery in beauty contests and have had their questions thoroughly answered by the Miss Vietnam organizing committee.
Sharing at the admissions meeting at Hue University - journalist Tran Tuan - representative of the organizing committee - affirmed that Miss Vietnam is the only beauty contest that remains steadfast in traditional values, respecting the natural beauty of women.
"It was thought that this would be a barrier in the era of beauty technology, but in reality, there are still many contestants who meet the original beauty criteria of Miss Vietnam. This proves that natural beauty is always valued," said journalist Tran Tuan.
Tran Thi Huyen Co - Runner-up of University of Finance - Marketing 2023 - said she is confident in meeting the organizers' standards of original beauty. According to her, this is a strict criterion but makes up the value of the contest.
Vo Doan Bao Ha - a former student of International University - Ho Chi Minh National University is a face that attracts attention at the admissions at the University of Finance - Marketing. She said she spent two years preparing to register for Miss Vietnam 2024. Among many beauty contests, Bao Ha chose Miss Vietnam because the contest honors original, pure beauty. Bao Ha has a sweet, pure face.
Appearing at the recruitment tour, Miss Do Thi Ha, runner-up Phuong Anh, Ngoc Thao... also supported the criteria of natural beauty that has been maintained for many years by Miss Vietnam. Supermodel Phuong Mai assessed that the Miss Vietnam contest helps to honor and re-evaluate the original beauty of Vietnamese women.
Evaluating the Miss Vietnam 2024 recruitment festival, journalist Phung Cong Suong - Head of the Miss Vietnam 2024 Organizing Committee - commented that the series of recruitment events were successful in both scale of organization and quality.
