At 8:00 p.m. on January 18, at the outdoor stage at Nguyen Hoang Ton intersection (Tay Ho district, Hanoi), the program "Light Concert - Welcome New Year 2025" took place, satisfying the eyes with the combination of light, music and technology.
The art program is carefully invested, blending modern lighting technology and the beauty of traditional music, taking place in the unique cultural space of West Lake.
From 6:30 p.m., all the roads leading to the stage were packed with people arriving early to get a seat to watch the show. Many people had to park their cars 500 meters away to get to the performance area.
In addition to the spectacular musical performances with the participation of many famous artists such as singers My Tam, Ha Le, Hoang Hiep..., the impressive highlight of the show was the performance of 2,025 glowing drones, combined with music from the symphony orchestra, bringing a unique and emotional experience to the audience.
Not only adults but also children eagerly awaited the light show of 2,025 drones.
Opening the light show, 2,025 drones formed the shape of a Ly Dynasty dragon symbol flying in the sky. For Vietnamese people, the dragon is not only considered the most sacred of the four sacred animals, but the dragon is also the origin of the Vietnamese people with the legend of "Dragon's children - Fairy's grandchildren".
The dragon is also a symbol of royalty associated with the capital. In the photo, two dragon images are facing the symbol of Khue Van Cac of Hanoi Capital.
“Hanoi Capital – City for Peace” is the brand and value of a city that is developing day by day. After 25 years since Hanoi was awarded the title “City for Peace” by UNESCO, Hanoi has successfully positioned that reputation, becoming a safe and reliable destination for tourists, a peaceful bridge for international friendly and trade events.
The image of Hanoi's symbol with the bird of peace was created by a drone in the sky.
The image of Nhat Tan Bridge is created by thousands of drones, thereby showing the increasingly developing traffic infrastructure of the capital.
Hanoi's Old Quarter appears vividly in Hanoi's night sky.
Thuy Linh (in Bac Tu Liem district) and 4 friends were in line from 3pm on Nguyen Hoang Ton street.
“We also went to see the rehearsal yesterday and really liked it, so we came to see it again today. I personally felt excited when the drones continuously transformed into many images. The typical traffic works of the capital appeared, through which I was very proud of the development of the country,” Thuy Linh shared.
Throughout the 2 hours, the people of the capital enjoyed a top-notch sound and light space. The event opened the Hanoi International Light Festival 2025 and promises to become an annual activity.
