Market Management Team No. 10 coordinated with the Economic Police Team - Thanh Hoa City Police to conduct a surprise inspection of the warehouse of Le Van Dung business household, located in An Hung ward, Thanh Hoa city.
During the inspection process, the Inspection Team discovered and temporarily seized 1,287 products with signs of smuggling, unknown origin and expired.
The products seized were mainly powder for making milk tea, coffee, ice cream, cocoa and foods such as pork cartilage, pork belly, sweet potatoes, dried beef... The total value of the infringing goods was estimated at about 79,000,000 VND.
Another business owned by Ms. Tran Thi Huong, located in Dien Bien Ward, Thanh Hoa City, was also discovered by the Inspection Team and temporarily seized 5,361 products with signs of violation, which were smuggled goods of unknown origin. The total value of the violating goods is estimated at about 81,000,000 VND.
The products seized were mainly beer, wine, cigarettes, dried meat, moon cakes, packaged food, grilled meat, canned fish, sausages...
Both cases are being further verified and clarified by Market Management Team No. 10 and the Economic Police Team - Thanh Hoa City Police according to the provisions of law.
