On May 26, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tan Binh District announced that in the period of 2029 - 2024, the district mobilized support for the poor through social security activities, with a total amount of more than 11 billion VND, and mobilized over 31 billion VND for the "For the Poor" Fund.
The district has deployed many effective models, solutions and methods, contributing to the effective implementation of the sustainable poverty reduction program in each phase.
In addition, promoting the morality of "When drinking water, remember its source" and the tradition of "Mutual love and support", in recent times, the work of gratitude and repayment in Tan Binh has also achieved remarkable results. The District Front and its member organizations regularly coordinate to visit and care for policy families and workers on holidays. In particular, they have chaired the launch and effectively implemented the model of "Home Health Care". This model has supported 4 Vietnamese heroic mothers, 7 seriously wounded soldiers, 15 elderly people, 15 people with disabilities, with a total amount of 840 million VND.
In addition, the District Front also chaired, called for, and mobilized over 5.9 billion VND to share and help people in areas affected by storms, floods, droughts, and saltwater intrusion.
