The Provincial People's Council has allowed the conversion of nearly 96.6 hectares of rice-growing land to implement 48 projects and works in the province. Of these, more than 35.1 hectares of rice-growing land will be converted to implement the project of building a road connecting National Highway 17B with Dinh Bridge, Kinh Mon Town. This is the project that needs to convert the most rice-growing land area in this phase.
The People's Council of Hai Duong province also agreed to adjust the area, name, add project implementation locations and related legal bases of 3 projects and works that the Provincial People's Council has agreed to recover land for at the regular meetings at the end of 2021, 2022 and the regular meeting in mid-2023. The 3 projects include: Construction of a new route connecting the intersection of Provincial Road 390 to National Highway 18 in Chi Linh City in Nam Sach District; An Phu Industrial Cluster in Kinh Mon; construction of a residential area adjacent to the irrigation river and National Highway 18 in Chi Linh City.
