Hai Duong organizes military-civilian cultural festival for the first time in all communes, wards and towns

According to the plan, communes, wards and towns in Hai Duong will organize the 2024 Military-Civilian Cultural Festival from December 1-22.

Minh Duc Commune (Tu Ky) was chosen as the locality to organize the provincial festival, scheduled for December 1.

The remaining districts, towns and cities select 1 commune-level unit as a pilot to gain experience, then replicate it throughout the district, town and city.

Before and during the festival, the following activities will take place in localities: Cultural exchange, art performances, sports, folk games; offering incense, flowers, visiting martyrs' monuments; visiting and giving gifts to families of policy beneficiaries and meritorious people; rewarding collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in performing local defense and military work...

This is the first year Hai Duong has organized this activity to practically celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2024) and the 35th anniversary of National Defense Day (December 22, 1989 - December 22, 2024).

* From December 5-22, all 19 communes and wards in Chi Linh will take turns organizing military-civilian cultural festivals. Chi Linh City chose Ben Tam ward as the focal point.
