Ha Tinh meets with outstanding representatives of intellectuals, artists, artisans, and journalists

Provincial Party Secretary Hoang Trung Dung hopes that in the coming time, the team of intellectuals, artists, artisans and journalists will continue to accompany Ha Tinh province in the process of implementing political tasks; promptly advise on solutions to promote their roles and functions.

On the afternoon of January 25, Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee held a conference to meet with outstanding representatives of intellectuals, artists, artisans, and journalists on the occasion of celebrating the Party and the spring of 2024.

Provincial Party Secretary Hoang Trung Dung and Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department Ha Van Hung chaired the meeting.

Attending the event were Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Tran The Dung, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Trong Hai, former provincial leaders, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Board Vo Hong Hai, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Tran Van Ky and outstanding representatives of intellectuals, artists, artisans and journalists.

At the conference, delegates watched a report on the province's socio-economic and political development in 2023. In that common achievement, there is the joint efforts, companionship, contributions and creativity of the province's intellectuals, artists, artisans and journalists.

Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department Ha Van Hung reported on the activities of intellectuals, artists, and journalists in 2023.

Ha Tinh currently has nearly 40 thousand intellectuals and 244 artists. The province has 4 local press agencies, 2 special editions; 35 newsletters, 56 electronic information pages of departments, branches, sectors, associations, unions at the provincial level, districts, cities, towns; 49 press agencies, resident reporters of central newspapers and other provinces.

Prof. Dr. Ho Trong Ngu - former Deputy Chairman of the National Assembly's Defense and Security Committee spoke at the meeting.

With the growth in quantity and quality, in recent times, the team of intellectuals, artists, artisans, and journalists in the area has had many innovations and creativity in performing their tasks, worthy of being the vanguard force on the cultural and ideological front of the Party, making an important contribution to the socio-economic development, national defense and security of the province.

Researcher, theorist, and literary and art critic Ha Quang - member of the Vietnam Writers Association, member of the Ha Tinh Literature and Arts Association shared about the passion of artists in general and writers in particular.

In particular, Ha Tinh intellectuals have promoted their core role in research, creation and application of scientific knowledge into practice. Young intellectuals actively participate in social activities through organizations such as the Young Physicians Association, the Young Entrepreneurs Association, and coordinate with the Youth Union to implement many socio-economic development programs, contributing positively to the development of the province.

Meritorious artist Hoang Ba Ngoc expressed his emotion when receiving the attention, recognition and attendance of the meeting from the provincial leaders.

The team of artists and artisans has well implemented the Party's guidelines and the State's policies and laws, created and created many valuable works, contributed to the good implementation of the province's political tasks, created a healthy cultural environment, and met the people's need to enjoy culture and art.

Journalist Khac Hien - Chief Representative of the Resident Office of the Journalists and Public Opinion Newspaper in Ha Tinh proposed some contents related to press activities in the coming time.

Local press agencies continued to innovate, making the most of social networking platforms, improving operational efficiency, and creating many valuable, high-quality press works. Reporters and journalists have been closely following the grassroots, actively and promptly reflecting the province's tasks in all fields. During the year, many press works won high prizes at the Central and Provincial Press Awards; thereby, affirming the solidity of expertise and professionalism of journalists in the area.

At the meeting, intellectuals, artists, artisans and journalists expressed their joy at the comprehensive results that Ha Tinh achieved in the past year; at the same time, they shared their thoughts and aspirations in the process of performing their tasks and their enthusiastic opinions to contribute to the development of the province.
