The People's Committee of Ha Tinh province has approved the confirmation of 11 mineral mines for common construction materials serving the construction of the North-South expressway as proposed by the investor and contractor.

According to information from the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Ha Tinh, up to this point, the Provincial People's Committee has approved the confirmation of area, capacity, volume, exploitation method and environmental protection in exploitation of 11 mines as proposed by the investor and construction unit.
The Provincial People's Council has passed a resolution on converting forest use to mineral exploitation for 7 mineral mines with forested land. Currently, units are negotiating compensation prices with organizations and individuals and are carrying out procedures for reforestation.
These 7 mineral mines have a landfill mine: Dong Moi mountain, Cam Lac commune, Cam Xuyen district; Dong Chieng mountain, Cam Son commune, Cam Xuyen district; Luu Vinh Son 2, 3, Luu Vinh Son commune, Thach Ha district; Duc Lang 2, Duc Lang commune, Duc Tho district; Dat Do 2, Ky Trung commune, Ky Anh district and the landfill mine in Thuong Loc commune, Can Loc district.
