On the afternoon of May 26, a representative of Ngoc Lam Ward Police (Long Bien District, Hanoi) said that the unit is coordinating with the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police of Hanoi City Police and other forces to search for a person suspected of jumping off Long Bien Bridge.

Specifically, at around 12:30 p.m. the same day, traffic participants on Long Bien Bridge discovered a motorbike with license plate 29F1-406.XX along with a backpack and a pair of sandals left on the bridge. Many people suspected that someone had jumped off the bridge, so they reported it to the authorities.

Upon receiving the news, the Ward Police, Fire Prevention and Rescue Police of Long Bien District Police, and the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team on the River (Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Hanoi City Police) quickly sent officers and soldiers to the scene to organize rescue.

At 2:30 p.m. the same day, two canoes of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police and fishermen were still actively searching for the victim.

Authorities are urgently searching for a young man suspected of jumping off Dong Tru Bridge (Hanoi) into the Duong River.
