Vice Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Duong Duc Tuan has just signed Decision No. 6132/2024 approving the detailed planning project of the central spatial axis of Quang An peninsula, scale 1/500. Location in Quang An ward, Tu Lien ward, Tay Ho district, Hanoi city.
The project's objective is to specify the Urban Zoning Plan for the West Lake area and vicinity (A6), scale 1/2000, and locally adjust the Urban Zoning Plan A6, scale 1/2000, at planning blocks 16, 17, 19, and regional routes.
The project outlines specific planning for the formation of a green axis, an entertainment area, a spiritual cultural park, a cultural and artistic park, including the construction of a large-scale modern theater along with a public landscape space axis, combined with a commercial development area, services, and hotels serving resort tourism.
The central space of Quang An peninsula connects from the central area of Tay Ho Tay urban area - West Lake - West Lake peninsula - Red River - Co Loa citadel, aiming to preserve, embellish and exploit the typical values of culture, landscape, water surface of West Lake, Dam Tri lake... existing communal house, temple and pagoda relics.

The planning project aims to connect urban underground space, underground parking lots with the general technical infrastructure system according to the city's planning, improve the technical infrastructure system, traffic, add parking lots, protect the ecological environment of West Lake's water surface and the regional environment.
The total area of the planned land is about 44.1 hectares. Regarding detailed planning, the area of urban public land is about 4.9 hectares, urban green land is more than 24 hectares, residential land is nearly 0.58 hectares, and school land is 0.42 hectares.

Tay Ho District People's Committee and the consulting unit, Hanoi Institute of Construction Planning, are legally responsible for the organization of the project, quality, data, accuracy, consistency and synchronization with the system of drawings and explanations.
The City People's Committee assigned the Tay Ho District People's Committee to preside over and coordinate with the Department of Planning and Architecture and the Hanoi Institute of Construction Planning to publicly announce the approved detailed planning project content so that relevant organizations, agencies and people can know.
Tay Ho District People's Committee was also assigned to organize the establishment, approval of tasks, boundary marker planting dossiers and organize the implementation of boundary marker planting in the Detailed Planning of the central spatial axis area of Quang An peninsula, scale 1/500 approved by Hanoi People's Committee.
