Minh Quang and Bac Luong Son High Schools are allowed to enroll students from all over the city who are not admitted to their registered wishes and have an admission score of 18 points or higher. Students who meet the above admission requirements must write an application for admission to the school (according to the form provided by the school) with a photocopy of the admission result notice for grade 10 high school for the 2023-2024 school year, and submit it to Minh Quang High School or Bac Luong Son High School from 8:00 a.m. on July 11 to 5:00 p.m. on July 13 (during office hours).

From 8:00 a.m. on July 14, the school's Admissions Council will meet to review students' applications from high to low scores until the assigned quota is met. At 2:00 p.m. on July 14, the school will submit the list of proposed admissions and approve the list of admitted students to the Hanoi Department of Education and Training. No later than 8:00 a.m. on July 15, the school will announce the results of the students admitted to the school. Admitted students will submit their admission applications to the school from 8:00 a.m. on July 15 to 5:00 p.m. on July 17 during office hours.

The Hanoi Department of Education and Training noted that when lowering the admission score, the school is allowed to accept students with the second and third wishes who meet the additional admission requirements. Students who are admitted to the second wish must have an admission score at least 1 point higher than the school's additional admission score. Students who are admitted to the third wish must have an admission score at least 2 points higher than the school's additional admission score.

The Hanoi Department of Education and Training requires that the admission of additional admitted students be carried out directly at high schools (during office hours) from 8:00 a.m. on July 11 to 5:00 p.m. on July 14.

Principals of public high schools, based on the additional admission standards, organize the admission of admitted students according to the Admission Regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and the Admission Guidelines of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training.
