ANTD.VN - By the end of November, in Hanoi, nearly 150 out of 450 retail gasoline stores had applied electronic invoices for each sale.
According to Mr. Nguyen Tien Truong - Deputy Director of Hanoi Tax Department, before Decree No. 123/2020/ND-CP dated October 19, 2020 of the Government took effect, Hanoi Tax Department has been implementing the work of affixing seals at petrol measuring stations of petrol businesses in the city.
Since Decree No. 123/2020/ND-CP took effect, the Hanoi Tax Department has actively disseminated and guided taxpayers on legal regulations on invoices, documents and the benefits of issuing electronic invoices for each sale.
Up to now, only Vietnam National Petroleum Group and Ho Chi Minh City Petroleum Company Limited have issued electronic invoices after each sale. |
According to preliminary statistics as of November 30, 2023, there are more than 240 gasoline retail businesses in the area under the management of the Hanoi Tax Department with more than 450 stores and nearly 2,000 fuel pumps.
Of which, there are currently nearly 150 stores applying the issuance of electronic invoices for each sale.
Previously, leaders of the Ministry of Finance and the General Department of Taxation have continuously urged tax authorities at all levels to deploy electronic invoices for each sale at petrol and oil retail outlets.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has also twice issued official dispatches requesting that petrol and oil retail outlets issue electronic invoices for each sale and connect data with tax authorities within December.
However, according to the Ministry of Finance, to date, only the Vietnam National Petroleum Group and Ho Chi Minh City Petroleum Company Limited have issued electronic invoices after each sale at about 2,700 stores, accounting for about 16% of the total number of retail gasoline stores nationwide.
The remaining businesses and retail stores selling gasoline, although having implemented electronic invoices, have not yet been able to issue electronic invoices for each sale according to the above regulations.
