Accordingly, 104 products will be evaluated and classified as OCOP products of Hanoi city on January 10 and 11. These are products that have been evaluated at the district level and have the potential to achieve 4-star OCOP.
Of these 104 products, there are 93 food products; 1 herbal product; 7 handicraft and textile products; 3 ornamental products of 32 entities.
Nguyen Van Chi, Deputy Chief of the Standing Office of the Office of the City's New Rural Development Program Coordination, said that in 2023, the evaluation and classification of OCOP products will be carried out in accordance with Decision 148/QD-TTg (dated February 24, 2023) of the Prime Minister on the regulations of the set of criteria and the process of evaluating and classifying OCOP products. Accordingly, the evaluation will be carried out at the commune, district, provincial and central levels, corresponding to the 3-star, 4-star and 5-star levels of OCOP products.
Previously, in 2023, districts, towns and cities of Hanoi city evaluated and classified 544 products, achieving and exceeding 136% of the city's assigned plan. Of which, 440 were 3-star products and 104 were potential 4-star products of 200 entities (50 enterprises, 36 cooperatives, 114 business households).
The products are assessed to be diverse in types, including: 280 processed food products, accounting for 51.5%; 16 raw food products, accounting for 2.9%; 61 fresh food products, accounting for 1.2%; 16 beverage products, accounting for 2.9%; 1 herbal product, accounting for 0.2%; 142 handicraft and textile products, accounting for 26.1%; 28 ornamental products, accounting for 5.1%. Of which, 141/544 products are from craft villages, accounting for 25.9%...
Mr. Nguyen Van Chi said that the Hanoi New Rural Development Program Coordination Office coordinated with the city to expand the market for products participating in the program, focusing on export products with high economic value. Currently, the city is also focusing on expanding the market for OCOP products.
