According to the announcement of temporary power outage by Hanoi Electricity Corporation, many areas in Hanoi, including My Duc, Thanh Oai, Ung Hoa districts and Son Tay town, continue to have power outages.

Especially in Thanh Oai district, many manufacturing enterprises are subject to notice of temporary power outage from 1 to 3 hours, rotating according to morning time frames.

Long Bien District and Ha Dong District today have many residential areas and roads without power.

In Vinh Phuc , many households received notice of power outages on June 8, with many communes experiencing power outages twice a day, from afternoon until midnight.

Specifically, in Van Xuan commune (Vinh Tuong district), people received notice of continuous power outages on June 8-9.

For hamlets 1, 2, 6, 7, the power was cut off from 00:00 to 14:00, then continued to be cut off from 19:00 to 24:00; for hamlets 3, 4, 5, people had their power cut off from 00:00 to 7:30, then continued to be cut off from 14:00 to 19:00.

In Bac Giang , the Bac Giang Electricity Company's website continues to update that hundreds of areas will have power outages on June 8. The company said it has a plan to provide electricity for the high school graduation exam, but the plan is no longer suitable at a time when this locality as well as the whole country is lacking electricity.

Accordingly, Bac Giang Electricity Company tries to ensure power supply for examination sites, copying, printing and grading areas, but this still depends on electricity allocation from Vietnam Electricity Group.

In response to this information, Mr. Mai Son, Permanent Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Giang province, requested the electricity sector to come up with a plan not to cut off power at exam question making, printing, and grading locations, except in force majeure situations regulated by Vietnam Electricity Group.

Mr. Son also requested that districts and cities proactively prepare backup generators for exam sites, and absolutely not let power outages occur while candidates are taking the exam.
