One of the important highlights in the implementation of the movement of physical training and sports to build a cultural life in Bim Son town is that the quality of building a cultural family has been increasingly improved, with many typical cultural family models; bad customs and social evils have been gradually pushed back, creating conditions for comprehensive and sustainable socio-economic development. Up to now, the whole town has built 58 "Sustainable Family Development" clubs in 58 villages and neighborhoods; the rate of cultural families has reached 90.8%... contributing to improving the quality of grassroots cultural life, improving the quality of cultural and spiritual life of the people.
In order to "Promote cultural values and human strength in the revolutionary cause, contributing to building a rich and civilized Thanh Hoa province", Bim Son town has gradually improved its institutions, legal regulations and cultural institutions, and built a healthy cultural environment. Focusing on building and developing culture and people in the period of accelerating industrialization and modernization. In recent years, cultural institutions from the town to the grassroots have gradually received investment attention, contributing to promoting cultural and artistic activities (VHVN), physical education and sports (TDTT). Notably, in the town, there are many traditional VHVN clubs operating regularly and effectively such as: Folk singing clubs of Bac Son and Ba Dinh wards; Cheo singing clubs of Lam Son, Phu Son wards and Quang Trung commune; Chau Van singing club of Dong Son ward... which have contributed to enriching the cultural picture of an industrial town.
Along with that, the sports training movement has developed widely in residential areas in the town. The rate of people participating in regular sports training is 59.76%; sports families are 45.81%; 100% of schools in the area ensure the implementation of physical education, with many sports clubs such as: football, volleyball, badminton, table tennis, aerobics, bodybuilding, folk dance...
In order for the movement of physical training and sports to be deployed and implemented effectively, Bim Son town attaches special importance to building a team of cultural workers. Training programs, supplementing knowledge on professional expertise, management skills and organizing activities to build cultural life at the grassroots level are carried out regularly. At the same time, strengthening the training of knowledge on State management and organizing cultural activities, equipping management knowledge in the new situation, helping the team of cultural workers to effectively solve problems arising in practical life. Up to now, 100% of cultural officials and civil servants from the town to the grassroots level have university degrees, ensuring the criteria on quantity, professional qualifications and practical capacity.
However, in addition to the achieved results, the process of deploying and implementing the movement of physical training and sports to build a new cultural life in Bim Son town still has many difficulties and limitations. In particular, the system of public cultural works serving the welfare needs of the people has not been invested in and built synchronously; the cultural and civilized urban lifestyle of the people has not been clearly formed; the quality of cultural residential areas is not yet stable; the investment in restoration, embellishment and renovation of relics is not uniform, only focusing on a number of key relics...
