YouTube allows sleep timer
According to Phone Arena, one of the notable features coming to YouTube is Sleep Timer. This feature was previously available on the Premium version but will now be available to everyone, including free accounts.
With the timer feature, users can let the app automatically pause the video after a certain period of time, thereby helping them control the video viewing time more effectively. Users can set the timer from 10 to 60 minutes.
Interact with YouTube playlists
YouTube is also improving its playlist creation capabilities, with users soon being able to invite friends to join in on playlists, opening up more fun ways to share music than before. This feature can be done via a special link or QR code.
Additionally, users can create personalized thumbnails for their playlists, allowing the use of both photos and AI-generated visual content.
Personalize the thumbnail player
Another improvement is the mini player, which allows users to resize the video window while watching and searching for other content. Having this feature in the YouTube app will help improve the user experience by reducing distractions.
