Gojek announced a partnership with Selex Motors, a pioneering electric motorbike startup in Vietnam, to pilot the use of Selex Camel electric motorbikes in Gojek's passenger transport, food delivery, and delivery services in Vietnam.
Gojek users will be able to experience GoRide, GoFood and GoSend services with the Selex Camel electric scooter line. |
With this collaboration project, Gojek driver partners will have the opportunity to use Selex Camel electric motorbikes when making GoRide, GoFood and GoSend orders on the Gojek application platform.
Compared to traditional gasoline-powered motorbikes, Selex Camel electric motorbikes save up to 35% on fuel costs and 50% on maintenance costs, significantly saving operating costs while reducing carbon emissions into the environment.
Selex Camel models use battery swapping technology, allowing drivers to quickly and efficiently swap batteries within 2 minutes at a common battery swapping station, achieving a range of up to 150 km on a single full charge.
Through the pilot project with Selex, Gojek driver partners can exchange batteries for free at more than 30 battery exchange stations in Hanoi and more than 40 stations in Ho Chi Minh City. The Selex Camel model is also equipped with a mobile charger, allowing drivers to charge at home easily, meeting the different charging needs of driver partners...
