HANU - On the afternoon of June 2, 2023, at Hanoi University, a talk on " Australia's Perspective - Prospects for the Asian Region" took place. - Pacific Ocean ” with speaker Peter Varghese AO - President of the University of Queensland (Australia).
Attending the talk were representatives of the Australian Embassy in Vietnam including Ambassador Andrew Goledzinowski, Ms. Jen Bahen - Counselor, Education and Research, Ms. Tran Le Ha - Deputy Director, Department of Training; representatives of the University of Queensland (UQ) including Mr. Peter Varghese AO - President of UQ, Mr. Brett Lovegrove - Vice-Chancellor of UQ. On the side of Hanoi University, there were Party Secretary, Chairman of the University Council Pham Ngoc Thach, Principal Nguyen Van Trao and teachers in the Board of Directors, teachers representing leaders of units and a large number of staff, lecturers, students of Hanoi University, and those interested in the program attended.
On behalf of Hanoi University, President Nguyen Van Trao warmly welcomed the representatives of the Australian Embassy in Vietnam, the delegation of the University of Queensland (Australia) and the guests who attended the program. The President hoped that through today's talk, the delegates would listen to the sharing of opportunities for cooperation in the field of education with Australia.
At the talk show “Australian Perspectives - Asia-Pacific Prospects”, speakers including Mr. Andrew Goledzinowski, President Peter Varghese AO, Vice-Chancellor Brett Lovegrove and Principal Nguyen Van Trao discussed and shared about the vision of Australia, the vision of Vietnam, cooperation opportunities between Australia and countries in the Asia-Pacific region, including Vietnam; especially cooperation in the field of education and great cooperation opportunities between the University of Queensland and Hanoi University.
