Not only young people, many coffee shops have quickly added "trendy" foods and drinks to their menus. From tiramisu cake to coffee cups, juices... all are decorated with the image of the Vietnamese national flag, creating a trend full of national colors and patriotism.
Not out of the trend, Giang cafe (Hong Linh street, district 10) has cleverly transformed each glass of water and each cake into the national flag, brilliant red with yellow star, making everyone excited.
Young people enjoy taking photos next to cakes shaped like the Vietnamese flag.
Khanh Linh, 20 years old (living in Tan Binh district) said: “I learned about the shop through social networks, came here partly to check in, partly to support the current trend of the shop which is quite interesting. When receiving glasses of water decorated with the national flag like that, as a young person, I feel quite proud and hope that in the future there will be more trends expressing patriotism like that.”
Bamboo Tube Coffee Shop (District 4, Ho Chi Minh City) also uniquely combines bamboo tubes with small flags when delivering drinks to customers.
Bamboo coffee cups combined with flags are typical of Vietnam on the occasion of September 2nd.
Mr. Nguyen Huynh, owner of the Bamboo Tube Coffee Shop, shared: “In the 2 days since I started making these cups of water with the national flag, I have received a lot of positive feedback. People really like the image of the flag combined with green bamboo tubes, so they buy a lot.”
Some coffee shops decorate their spaces with red flags and yellow stars to attract young people to take photos to celebrate National Day September 2. This is not only a way to decorate the shop but also to express and spread patriotism and national pride.
Thom Coffee Shop located on a small street in District 10 was decorated with flags and flowers throughout the space on September 2.
Enjoying a cup of strong coffee or a glass of fresh juice, admiring the simple beauty of the homeland through each uniquely presented dish, is not just a simple culinary experience.
It is not only a feeling of deep connection with the homeland but also more love and pride for one's people.
